The FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Team will be at the Cherokee County Emergency Operations Center, at 213 Alma St., Gaffney, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

FOOD & WATER DISTRIBUTION
Food and water distribution sites at the Midway Complex and Broad River Church will NO longer be serving on site. If you have an immediate need please call the CITIZEN HOTLINE from 8:30-5pm .
Volunteers are staffing four feeding locations serving hot meals from 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow, Monday, October 7, 2024.

On Monday, all schools will be serving food from noon until they run out.
If you are Interested in volunteering for disaster relief recovery – you can begin by calling the citizen hotline number. A CITIZEN HOTLINE has been set up 1-864-487-2587 to report damages and for information on food, water, shelter, and volunteer sign-up. Monday 8:30-5pm
The Cherokee County Sanitation department will be on regular schedule next week. Please pull your carts to the road. Crews will pick up garbage on regular routes as they are able.
The Landfill is closed today (Sunday) and we resume the regular schedule next week. Monday – Saturday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. All items must be separated, no mixed loads. Everyone must cross scales – NO exceptions.
Cherokee County, City of Gaffney and Town of Blacksburg offices will operate on regular business hours this week.
